Bloodhound working trials
Fryony achieved her working permit in July2024 and stock permit January 2025
She won novice and ID iat Morebattle in September 2024
1st in Junior at St Leonards Feb 2025
There are 4 levels of competition and Fryony will now compete at intermediate level. At this level they have to work a human scent that was left 1.5 hours before the hound starts. The route, unknown to the handler, is 2.5 miles long.
To compete at senior level they need a full permit which demonstrates they are steady in livestock.
Ambassador to the breed
Fryony made her first public appearance at Crufts with her mum. They represent the breed at Discover Dogs and will do so again.
Fryony attended Good Citizen puppy class and was awarded her puppy level. She passed her bronze level in October 2024.
She is working at silver
